Sirenide Eau de Parfum.
Orkney, an archipelago north of Scotland, served as the inspiration for this fragrance. According to ancient Orkney myths, shapeshifting beings—the Selkies—live there in the bodies of seals and shed their skins as soon as they emerge from the water to walk among humans. Often in these tales, the Selkie's skin is found and hidden by local men, who are then forced to marry their human capturer.
In our version of this story, however, the Selkie prevails… horrified that he has tanned her precious hide, the Selkie poisons her tormentor, takes back the leather, and finally returns to the raging sea.
Sirenide Eau de Parfum is therefore a truly imposing fragrance: powerful and mysterious, with triple facets that unfold on the skin. PVC merges with pine and a disturbing bitter almond note… Water lilies bloom and wither, returning to the water.
Head notes: Blue iris, water buckthorn, bitter almond & anise
