Thierry Lemahieu is a designer with a passion for art and perfumes. His sculptural bottle "Essence de ma Mémoire" ("The Essence of My Memory"), exhibited at the International Perfume Museum in Grasse, is a reminder of the importance of scent in our lives.
"If perfume can be compared to a structure like puff pastry, the same applies to our memory, where memories overlap without replacing each other."
Emotions, moments, and eras follow one another and become intertwined in our memory, gradually creating subconscious worlds.
Smells mark time in every moment of our lives.
These worlds, dormant deep in our subconscious, are forgotten, but not erased.
