Pyroclasm Eau de Parfum is inspired by the immense natural forces that shaped the basalt formations of the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. Pyroclasm imagines a leap across the sea to the shipyards on the Clyde, where similar human forces were employed in the construction of iron ships.
Pyroclasm (translated: broken by fire) explores the idea of the intense heat and pressure required to create the basalt "rivets" of this natural phenomenon, and the similar forces at work in fastening ship hulls.
